Swaragini is all set for a six months leap. The couples are separated and there is a lot of agony too. After all the family drama and heavy duty tragic situations, the focus is now on Lakshya (Namish Taneja). He has gone missing and everyone is too worried. Swara (Helly Shah) will be blaming Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) for the same. He will be damn upset because she betrayed him by joining hands with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar). After a heated argument, Swara will leave Sanskar and the Maheshwari mansion.

Both the sisters will return to the Baadi and the story will take a six months leap. Swara and Ragini will be running a wedding planning business and doing well for themselves. Their look will also change and we will see them playing music together. On the other hand, Sanskar will try his best to locate Lakshya. After hunting around, he will spot a car that belonged to Laksh. It seems the car would have changed hands and Sanskar will beat up the new owner to extract information about his brother. The police will come and stop him. An angry Sanskar will say that the police is useless and does not let others do a job as well. We don’t know what has happened to Laksh. It seems he ran away out of guilt. Namish is reportedly enjoying a long break as he is not needed.

The best part is Sanskar has got a new look. We will see him in formals. This is indeed relief for all fans of Swaragini who were tired of seeing him in the same clothes. Trust us, we too feel he shot half of the year in the yellow tee shirt and blue blazer. The actor said they wanted him to look a little mature. It is an all black look and Varun is looking quite hot. Swaragini begins with the police coming to arrest Adarsh. Durgaprasad says that you are not my son anymore. He says you can have my forgiveness but I won’t give you any chance to repent. He tells Adarsh (Tarun Singh) that he made history in Maheshwari mansion by ill-treating his parents. When the police asks him what about Parineeta, he says I will not file any complaint against her. She is my responsibility. She falls at Durgaprasad’s (Nagesh Salwan) feet and begs for forgiveness. He says I will not forget what you did. He says you will live her but you will only see hatred for you in our eyes. Parineeta cries as police takes Adarsh away. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) consoles Annapurna who is crying bitterly.

Ragini says I am trying Laksh’s (Namish Taneja) number but he is not picking up. I am very worried. She tells Swara (Helly Shah) to call him up. At Baadi, Sujata (Sonica Handa) screams at Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) for being violent towards him. He says mother he was accusing me falsely I lost my temper. Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) and Shumi say that he might have gone home as Durgaprasad must have called him. Moreover, the police must have reached there too. Swara calls Sanskar and says Laksh is missing. Sanskar goes to look for him. He comes to Maheshwari mansion and sees Adarsh being taken away. He tells his brother that he used to say that he will win but evil is defeated eventually. Ragini is extremely perturbed about Laksh and Swara tells her not to panic. Sanskar enters the house and seeks blessings from bade papa. He tells Annapurna that we will live happily now. Sanskar tells Ragini that Laksh will be back soon. She says I am having a very bad premonition about Laksh. Sanskar says I will bring him home. Swara and Sanskar avoid each other’s gaze. Ragini is in tears.

The police is not able to trace Laksh even after a week. Ragini is disconsolate. The constable says we searched all over the city but there is no trace. His car is also untraceable. It seems he disappeared out of his own free will and does not want to return.

Sanskar tells the cop to shut up and says how can you say my brother does not want to return home. The cop says we will continue our investigation. Sujata tells him to control his temper. Ragini is shattered and Sanskar says he will find her. Ragini says she is scared, after all where is he, has someone kidnapped him. He tells her not to lose hope. Swara says whom are you giving hope. She says I know you are trying to set matters right. Swara, angrily tells Sanskar that you never believed in me. She says because of your anger my sister’s future is in the limbo. She says she is shattered. She says you should have listened to me and not fought with him. She says because of you, Ragini and I have lost this battle. Sanskar remembers his last conversation with Laksh. An angry Swara says you did not trust my instincts and fought with him. She says you know he is impulsive and can do anything in anger. She says you took out my anger on him. Swara says yes I broke your trust and supported my sister. She says Sanskar you are responsible for her condition. Shekhar tries to calm her down. She says everyone must know that Sanskar is responsible for this mess.

With Swaragini back to square one, again the focus is on the love story of the couples. We know Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) is mighty dissed with Swara (Helly Shah) for secretly plotting with her sister, Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar). In the coming episodes, the drama will shift to Uttara’s (Khyati Mangla) wedding. We know that Uttara’s mom-in-law will give the wedding planning arrangements to Swara and Ragini. However, Sanskar will spot them and throw a fit.

It seems that Uttara’s mom-in-law will come to know that Sanskar has a Bengali wife and throw a fit. Then, he will say that he is ready to forget his wife for the same. He will also say there are no relations left. Swara will be very upset and they’ll have a massive showdown in the middle of the road. Ragini will be stunned to see this and try to mend their lives.

Ragini will take on the wedding planner role and do things that make Sanskar realise the importance of Swara in his life. Before that, they will meet at Uttara’s in-laws place. Swara and Sanskar will share an eyelock while Ragini will be very worried about it. Sanskar says she will bear ties with his ex-wife for his sister’s sake.

Oh No, it is happening again. Swaragini seems to be obsessed with Swara’s (Helly Shah) love life. The lady was first infatuated with Laksh (Namish Taneja), then fell madly in love with Sanskar (Varun Kapoor), was stalked by Sahil (Anuj Sachdeva) and now has a new admirer in Nikhil played by Pratap Hada. We know that she is lovely but spare someone for Ragini too. This is damn unfair. We will not try to analyse why Swara is so darn irresistible but come to the main point. It seems a new track will start where Nikhil will get attracted to Swara and Sanskar won’t like it. Ragini will try to take advantage of this situation.

Well, Nikhil is Swara’s childhood buddy. He is helping her in the wedding planning business. Swara and Nikhil are coming closer gradually. This will irk Sanskar to a great degree and he will start losing his emotional balance. Even Swara will notice a change in him. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) will think of making Sanskar more jealous but later feel it is not a good plan.

Sanskar will start hovering around Swara to keep an eye on Nikhil and their behaviour. However, Ragini will try to manipulate the situation to bring the estranged couple together. In last night’s episode we saw how Sanskar landed up at Baadi after the location of Laksh’s phone was traced to Nikhil’s bag. Swara and he had a minor fight as well. We will see more arguments in the coming tracks where Swara will be arguing like a typical wife.

Swaragini begins with Nikhil (Pratap Hada) telling Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) that he does not know how the phone came to him. Sanskar says I can take out information and grabs his neck. Swara (Helly Shah) tells him to stop. The inspector says we have a valid reason to suspect him. He says is he your relative that you’re so concerned. Upset Swara says he is my childhood friend and no one can take him without proof. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) says it is not just a phone, it is Laksh’s (Namish Taneja) phone, let the cops take him to the police for questioning. Swara gets upset. She tells Sanskar you are making a mistake once again. He remembers her cruel words while parting. Sanskar pushes Swara, who says you just cannot take Nikhil away.

At Gayatri’s home, Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) and Sujata (Sonica Handa) see Gayatri washing her husband’s feet and wiping it with her sari. Sujata says my daughter will be happy here while Annapurna is aghast. Gayatri says he is Chirag’s father. The ladies depart from Gayatri’s residence. She shuts the door on their face. Swara asks Nikhil if the phone is his. He says Swara trust me, it is not my phone. She says if that is true I will prove you innocent. Sanskar says you have sworn to prove me wrong whatever the case. She tells the cops to give her 10 mins to prove her friend innocent. Sanskar says if you cannot prove it then. Swara says I will do whatever you want.

Swara says this phone can only come to him if he was here. However, my friend was in Canada since a long time. Sanskar says he came and bought stolen phone. Swara tells him to show his passport. She shows it to the cops and says see the date on his passport. He has come back today. The cops tell Sanskar that his wife is correct. Nikhil asks Sanskar do I look like a thief? Why are you behind my life? Nikhil says I kept my bag at this place and stepped out for a while. Maybe someone put in it. Sanskar says you are cooking up stories. Swara says we can see in CCTV. Then, a man is seen running away from the place.

At Maheshwari mansion, Annapurna says I do not feel right about Uttara marrying into that household. She says they are greedy people. She says we also believe in traditions but our mentality is totally different. Ramprasad says Chirag has studied abroad, he is someone with modern thought. I do not think he will treat her badly. Durgaprasad says I have heard good things about the boy. He says let them do what they feel is best for their daughter.

The cops nab a man who says he bought the news from a second hand shop. Swara says so Sanskar do you believe now that my buddy is innocent. Sanskar says my brother is missing from six months. Do you know what I am going through Ms Swara Sanskar Maheshwari. He says do not feel happy hearing your name from my lips. I hate you so much that soon I will break our relationship in such a manner that you will not be able to join it again.

Swaragini will see the jealousy track taking centrestage in coming weeks. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) won’t be able to tolerate Swara’s (Helly Shah) friendship with Nikhil (Pratap Hada). He will start drinking and this will upset Swara. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) will see Sanskar upset and think of using it to reunite Swara and Sanskar. It seems he will also start spying on Swara to find out how close she is to him.

We will also see the engagement track of Uttara (Khyati Mangla) to Chirag (Manoj Chandila). The two sisters will reach Maheshwari mansion to make the arrangements. There, Gayatri will make them dance for the entertainment of the audience. It seems the dancers would have ditched them and they would be left with no option. Swara and Ragini will present a lovely dance. Sanskar will see all this and remember the lovely moments he spent with his lady love.

Sanskar will be extremely upset with Swara and say that she should marry Nikhil. He will make all the arrangements for their wedding. She will be totally shocked. There is a chance that the mystery of Lakshya will be solved during Uttara’s engagement as the sisters will spot the woman with the butterfly tattoo in the function. Swaragini begins with Sujata(Sonica Handa) admiring the decorations of Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) for Uttara’s (Khyati Mangla) engagement party. Sujata says this must be Swara’s handiwork. Nikhil (Pratap Hada) says this was done by Swara and praises her. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) feels bad. Swara stands outside Maheshwari mansion and remembers the time spent there with Sanskar. Ragini remembers her romantic moments with Laksh (Namish Taneja). Ragini gets teary eyed. Swara tells Ragini that she can understand her pain. She says I left the home because I could not live here without Laksh and you also supported me. She says some relationships have soured since then.

She says I want to enter in with confidence. Swara says things will be right this time round. They walk inside. She remembers Sanskar’s ultimatum and feels bad. They check out the decorations. Durgaprasad is about to bless the sisters when Gayatri walks in with her husband. Sujata asks where is Chirag. She says his flight is late and he will reach the venue directly. Gayatri asks Sujata where is your badi bahu. Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) says she is at her parent’s home. Gayatri says this is not done, today is her sister-in-law’s engagement and she is missing. Once a girl marries her in-laws home is hers.

She says the wedding planner girls have done the place well. Swara tells the waiter to serve starters and says do not give sweet to Durgaprasad. Sanskar observes this from the corner. She collides with Nikhil in the corridor and tells him to work carefully. Sanskar overhears the conversation. He stops Swara. He says I told you that you are here only as a wedding planner, do not try to mend relations. He says just stay like a planner. She says you have learnt a lot in life haven’t you, please try to read my eyes as what you see can be deceptive. Let me stay here just like a planner. Do not think of me as your wife and show your anger. Upset, he pins her to a pillar and looks angrily into her eyes. She says leave me as people will not like it if we are caught together. Nikhil comes there and says sorry. Ragini bumps with a woman who has butterfly tattoo. Nikhil leaves saying he does not want to barge in. Sanskar says you have already come in between. He says thanks Nikhil for managing his problem. He says Swara is your childhood friend, you can go ahead and marry her. Nikhil says I am being polite as it is your sister’s engagement or else I would have replied appropriately. Swara says let us go from here. Sanskar grabs her arm and says stop. Gayatri comes there and is shocked to see this.

Swaragini begins with Gayatri asking Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) what’s is happening. She sees his tight grip on Swara’s (Helly Shah) wrist. She says there was some problem so Sir got angry. Gayatri tells Sanskar not to be angry as people from lower level of society have right to make mistakes. She tells Swara that her guests are getting bored so arrange for some dance and music. Swara tells Nikhil (Pratap Hada) to call the folk dancers. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) tells Nikhil that she needs to find Swara.

Chirag (Manoj Chandila) makes an entry and everyone is happy to see him. Sujata (Sonica Handa) gets him introduced. Gayatri scolds her son for being late. Sujata gets Sanskar and introduces Chirag to Sanskar praising him. Gayatri says my son is like Shravan Kumar and is very obedient. Sujata gets upset hearing this. Gayatri says Sanskar is a nice boy and has made great arrangements. Ragini says the lady with butterfly tattoo is in the party. She says she will try to find her while Swara oversees arrangements.

Uttara comes down. The dance begins with folk dancers. One of the girls fall down, she is the one with the butterfly tattoo. She gets injured and is unable to dance. Gayatri tells Swara that she has made a blunder and needs to compensate. Swara says sorry Aunty. Gayatri says do not call me Aunty. Sujata tries to pacify Gayatri, who is throwing her weight around. Sanskar tries to intervene but she stops him. Ragini runs behind the girl but she tries to escape. Swara comes before her and the girl halts. She tells her to confess where is Laksh (Namish Taneja). The girl says yes we do steal wallets and mobile phones. Swara says we will not complain against you but tell us where is Laksh.

She says she met Laksh when he was lying injured by the wayside. She got close to him and realised that he was still breathing. He had got up and was walking towards the road when he got hit. The car owner took him to the hospital after the accident. She tells them the name of the hospital. Ragini calls up the hospital and asks about Laksh. The nurse says there is no patient with this name. She is distraught.

Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) calling up district hospital and inquiring about Laksh (Namish Taneja). They say that there is no patient with that name in our hospital. The tattooed girl says I am not lying. At Maheshwari mansion, Gayatri fumes that the wedding planner girls have done a shoddy job. She says I made a mistake employing them. Swara (Helly Shah) says Ragini you go to the hospital with Nikhil (Pratap Hada) to find out about Laksh. Inside, Gayatri screams enough is enough.

Swara starts dancing on Deewani Mastani much to the dismay of Maheshwari family members. Swara dances with tears and people offer her money. Sanskar feels terrible and shuts his eyes. Everyone clap for Swara’s performance. Gayatri gets up and puts a garland of notes on Swara’s neck. She says you are a better dancer than decorator, you should be dancing at functions only. Swara goes inside a room and cries. Durgaprasad and Annapurna enter in to console her. Annapurna says what was the need for all this, why did you get yourself humiliated like this. Durgaprasad says your actions have hurt us. They ask why did you not stop that dancer. She reveals that girl knew about Laksh so I had to let her go. She says I sent Ragini and Nikhil with the girl.

Ragini rushes inside the hospital and asks about Laksh. They show his snap and enquire. The nurse calls senior doctor. He says I did not know anything about him when he came in. We referred to him by his bed number. She calls up Swara and says we found out about him. Ragini says I want to meet him, I am desperate. The doctor says I cannot allow that as he has died three days back. He says no one enquired about him in six months so we cremated him yesterday. She sinks down on the floor.

Nikhil tells the doctor that how could they do it. The doctor says what we did was legally right. He says we did everything right from giving ads in local papers to everything. Ragini leaves the hospital in tears. She gets flashback of all memories. Nikhil tries to console her. He gets a call from Swara and is about to tell her everything. But Ragini remembers Swara’s promise and says that Laksh is not here. She says he has escaped from here. Ragini says I hope you did not mention about Laksh to his parents. Swara says I did. Ragini says tell them that Ragini is only mildly disappointed and has full faith that he will be back soon.

Swara says you wanted to hide truths from me so you cut the phone. She looks behind to see Sanskar. He asks you look so unhappy what happened Swara. Sanskar says you must be thinking about Nikhil. Swara yes, what is your problem. He says do not get upset, just wait for a few days then you can spend all your time with Nikhil. Angry, Swara says do not interfere in my personal life, I am only a wedding planner here. Nikhil says Ragini why did you lie to Swara. Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life….

We informed you yesterday that Namish Taneja will be soon seen in a new look. The actor was missing from action since some time on Swaragini. The actor enjoyed his Diwali break to the fullest and is set to resume shoot at the soonest. This time his character is totally different from what we have seen so far. The actor will play his look alike on the show, which is trying its best to revive its ratings on the TRP charts. The new SwaSan track has found acceptance from viewers and people want to rev up the love story of Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) and Lakshya (Namish Taneja) as well.

Namish’s new character is called Abhimanyu. He looks a lot older and is more matured. The actor has begun shooting for his re-entry and is hoping to come back with a bang. A source said, “He will re-enter in the show as Lakshya’s lookalike Abhimanyu. The actor will be shown as the father of 6 year old girl, who is married to another girl.” The actor is sporting spectacles, trimmed beard and a new hairstyle. Namish had no apprehensions about playing dad to a six-year-old child. He said, “No! As an actor we need to experiment and portray roles with different shades, variation and graphs.” We guess a memory loss track is coming on the way. It would be surprising if it something different. Or maybe he has a plan in mind.

Swaragini begins with Swara (Helly Shah) playing Ragini’s (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) conversation with Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) before her. Ram scolds Uttara (Khyati Mangla) for meeting Chirag (Manoj Chandila) but she says he came to meet her.  She says I feel he is decent boy and we should not punish him for his parents. Sujata (Sonica Handa) agrees and tries to convince Ram about the same. She says he is like a diamond. Ram calls her foolish. Swara says I am sorry that I had to record your conversation but I know that you cannot live without Laksh (Namish Taneja). She plays the conversation and hears that Laksh is dead. Ragini is devastated.

Swara asks Ragini if it is true that he is dead. She says yes. Durgaprasad also agrees. Swara hugs her and says how did you manage to keep such great sorrow in your heart for so long. Durgaprasad says she did that to unite Sanskar and you. If you knew he was dead you would not revive your relationship. Sanskar hugs Durgaprasad and cries. He says nothing is left. My brother is dead. I am responsible for this mess. Swara says I refuse to believe this. Ragini says it is true. She begs to be left alone. Swara hugs Sharmishtha (Parineeta Borthakur) who says Ragini needs time alone.

Ragini wanders off alone on the road. She gets hit by a car. The lady brings her home and calls a doctor. Abhimanyu (Namish Taneja) walks in and hugs Mansi. Ragini wakes up and says she wants to ho home. Outside she collides with Abhimanyu who says be careful. She hears his voice and wonders who is it… They share an eyelock. Karam khudaya hai plays… Ragini runs into Abhimanyu’s arms. She weeps and says Laksh where did you go missing. Ragini hugs him tightly…

Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) bringing Mishka to Maheshwari mansion and saying that he is her husband and not her dad. She refutes. Abhimanyu (Namish Taneja) enters inside calling out to Ragini. Everyone is happy to see him and says Laksh we thought you were dead. He says my daughter has been brought her by force. I am not Laksh. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) says how can you have a kid. Mishka runs to him and hugs him. She identifies Swara (Helly Shah) having met her before. Abhimanyu tells her that he is her papa. Durgaprasad says he is his son and Ragini’s husband. Sanskar says maybe you have forgotten everything due to head injury. Laksh says he is Abhimanyu. He blames Ragini for pretending to be rich and trapping him. She cries. Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) says he is her son and that he met with an accident six months back. He says I am living with my family since years. He shows his ID card.

Swara asks him to leave saying that Laksh cannot talk to his family like that. Ragini is stunned and asks him to wait. Swara says let him go. Sujata tries to stop him. Later, Swara tells him to go. Sanskar asks Swara how is she to let him go. Swara says we cannot keep him by force. Swara asks Abhimanyu to go. Ragini says that I believe he is my Laksh. Even Sanskar says he is our Laksh.

Swara says she knows he is Laksh. Sujata and Ram say they would convince him. Swara says Laksh is doing this deliberately. She says she noticed that he was not making eye contact with anyone. She says when I saw him going, he had clutched his fist as if he is doing this helplessly. Ragini is shocked and says the girl is calling him Papa.

Annapurna says perhaps Laksh is in some trouble. Ragini says how can we get him back. Swara says he is alive and is in same city. She says your sister is with you, and promises to bring him back to her life and the Maheshwari mansion. Sanskar says Swara is not alone…I am with her. We both will bring him back. Ragini gets emotional and says please do not break my hope.

Fans are still upset that Sony TV pulled off Ek Duje Ke Vaaste abruptly at a time when they felt the story of Shravan (Namik Paul) and Suman (Nikita Dutta) has so much more to offer. Now, it is the turn of Swaragini fans to flood Twitter with the #Don’tEndSwaragini. While the channel or producer is yet to confirm whether the show is indeed going off air or not, promos of the new show Ek Shringaar – Swabhimaan are already on air. It will replace Swaragini at the 9.30pm slot on Colors. The TRPs of the popular drama have been on the decline since three months now and attempts to pick up momentum have gone in vain. The current track is getting eyeballs but it is too late an effort. We know that low TRPs are not treated gently by GECs in recent times no matter how popular a show might be. And that too on a slot as competitive as 9.30pm. At the same time, we must admit we are not totally surprised. Some of the tracks since past few months have failed to hold our interest and seemed quite repetitive. Moreover, instead of focusing on the lives of the two main pairs, there is unnecessary focus on supporting actors. Plus, new actors came in for cameos but failed to leave an impact. The channel has not been airing new promos of the show as well. So, what went wrong? Here is what we feel…

#Lopsided tracks
If fans of Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) and Laksh (Namish Taneja) complain, they have a point. There has been zero initiative to show them doing something good on the show. It is only now that Ragini is showing concern. As much as the world adores SwaSan, RagLak could have also got some focus. Instead, we saw Adarsh’s plotting and Uttara’s failed marriage.

#Too repetitive
We had Swara going in dressed like a Bengali maid to Rajat’s house during Uttara wedding and now she is a Rajasthani maidservant. The memory loss track was also damn drab. Worse, the show did not have the emotionally charged up moments that made it a hit in the first place.

#Swara the spy and dumb Sanskar
The fact that Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) got Laksh arrested in order to show him the right path was the stupidest thing on the show. Who strikes deals with the cops when you are down and out financially? We would have accepted it if Swara (Helly Shah) had done that but frankly that was not Sanskar’s style at all. Since 2016, the characters have lost their original personalities, which is annoying to the core. Also, people have changed sides like clothes, so who is right?

#No comic relief
Episodes have gone without a bit of nok jhok and humour on the show. A little bit of funny bitchiness would have certainly brought some relief. It looked like Sujata has sleeping all through?

Swaragini’s upcoming episodes will see a huge drama where Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) will stage a suicide in media glare. The lady was waiting for her husband for six months and his rejection post that has left Ragini devastated. Ragini will slash her wrists and be taken to the hospital.

Abhimanyu/Laksh (Namish Taneja) will follow her to the hospital and get very emotional seeing her state. All this while, Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) were trying their best to bring forth the reality that Laksh is indeed Abhimanyu but totally failed in that. He will go to the hospital, see Ragini and have an emotional breakdown. There he will confess that he is Laksh.

Swara will follow him and try to get them together. In the meantime, Pari (Tasheen Shah) will be scared that Abhimanyu will leave her. She will go into depression. Swara has to manage both Pari and Ragini. Prior to this, they will be surprised to see the lack of emotion on Abhimanyu’s face at Ragini’s death attempt. We guess the show will end with the both the girls finally finding peace with their husbands. The announcement of Ek Swabhimaan – Ek Shringaar has already been made with the promos being out. Looking beyond Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, there was a lot more happening in TV this week. Upasna Singh’s comeback on The Kapil Sharma Show was much talked about as was Keith Sequeira and Sanjeeda Sheikh’s Love Ka Hai Intezaar shoot on Suraj Hua Madham. Here is a look at TV’s newsmakers this week…

Upasna Singh
In what can be described as a relief of sorts for Kapil Sharma, Upasna Singh who played Bua on Comedy Nights with Kapil will be back on The Kapil Sharma Show in a new role. The lady is also seen as co-host on Nach Baliye 8. Upasna had joined The Kapil Sharma Show after quitting Comedy Nights Live last year but she quit soon. The lady also took some time off to tend to personal issues. Reportedly, she had filed for divorce from husband Neeraj as their marriage had fizzled out due to lack of compatibility. Now, she will be seen with a husband and lover on The Kapil Sharma Show. The lady’s shot for one episode, and will work on another one soon. Keith Sequeira – Sanjeeda Sheikh
Aamir Ali’s fans posted a snap of Keith Sequeira and Sanjeeda Sheikh romancing on the sand dunes of Rajasthan for the promo of Love Ka Hai Intezaar and we went crazy. They were recreating the iconic romantic number Suraj Hua Madhyam from Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham and looked darn  good together. The love story of Prince Madhav and a Bollywood actress will go on air from mid-May. It also stars Sara Afreen Khan and Preetika Rao. Ekta Kapoor’s reunion with Sakshi Tanwar and Smriti Irani
Internet went berserk and fans hoped for good news as Ekta Kapoor posted a picture of Sakshi Tanwar and Smriti Irani with her in Delhi. It was fantastic to see the TV bahus together for such a long time. While Smriti has quit acting for a successful political career, Sakshi will be seen on ALT Balaji’s Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat. The ladies looked damn pretty together. Smriti had come for Ekta’s Diwali bash last year as well. Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar
Fans of Ragini from Swaragini have a lot to cheer for Tejaswi is making her comeback soon. She will be seen in Shashi and Sumeet Mittal’s production for Sony TV. The show will be set in Rajasthan and she will be a girl from a princely family that has gone bankrupt. Tejaswi confirmed her participation on the show. Jiten Lalwani is roped in as her uncle. All the Swaragini actors are back on TV with the exception of Namish Taneja, whom we hope to see soon on screen.

Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan
The Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi duo has reunited for an Indonesian web-series. Shakti Arora and Radhika are hugely popular in the island country where their show is breaking records. The web-series also stars Ankit Bathla, Digangana Suryavanshi and Mrunal Jain. It is a great news for Indonesian fans but those back in India cannot follow the language.

Ever since Swaragini went off air, fans of Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar have been waiting for her return. She aced the role of the malicious Ragini to the hilt and many were eager to see what was her next choice. It seems she was offered Naamkarann in between but refused the project. But now she is back as Diya in Pehredaar Piya Ki. The concept of the show is very unusual, which seems to be a norm at Sony TV. The channel has given us Beyhadh and Moh Moh Ke Dhaage in recent times. Pehredaar Piya Ki is the story of a 18-year old girl who gets married to a nine-year old boy. It is a lot like Lamhe, where Anil Kapoor fell for Sridevi who was much older. Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar’s character was a Marwari in Swaragini but her get-up is more like a Rajput queen in Pehredaar Piya Ki. She is shown wearing a red lehenga with heavy jewellery as she steps out for her Karva Chauth. Afaan Khan dressed as Ratan Harshvardhan Singh is her husband. We see her kneeling down to celebrate her Karva Chauth. On the show, Diya marries Ratan to protect him. The marriage as expected happens under unusual circumstances. Shashi and Sumeet Mittal, the producers of the show have shot it in Udaipur. A lot of shooting is happening there and later the team will resume work in Mumbai. This is the production house’s third show in recent months after Dil Se Dil Tak and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji. Fans of Tejaswi are ecstatic that she has got a prominent role in a hatke show. While she did a fab job as Ragini, the negative aspect of her character did not gel with fans and even she was not reportedly very comfortable playing it. Diya seems to be a more positive role and Tejaswi is looking gorgeous. She played one of the most hated characters on TV in recent times. Tejasswi Prakash who played Ragini on Colors’ Swaragini is undoubtedly one of the finest young actresses around. The girl aced her role of the timid turned tyrant Ragini with such efficiency that people forgot that the real Tejasswi wasn’t a vamp like the girl onscreen. The girl is back with Sony TV’s Pehredaar Piya Ki that should get on air soon. In the film, she plays wife to a 10-year-old prince played by Affan Khan. A girl aged 18 married to a nine-year-old boy having her ‘suhaaag raat’ and even enjoying a honeymoon may sound cringe-worthy and regressive to many, but actress Tejaswi Prakash does not see anything wrong with the storyline of her Hindi television show “Pehredaar Piya Ki”. She says it’s “progressive” content. An online petition has been moved for a ban on the TV show, which has been described as “obnoxious and perverted” content that can “severely impact impressionable minds of children”. “Pehredaar Piya Ki”, which means “guardian of the lover” raised a lot of eyebrows with its launch last month. Viewers and actors felt that the Indian small screen has hit a new low after “Sasural Simar Ka”, where the title character Simar would incessantly shape shift to “dayan” or “makkhi” or some other mystical creature. Asked if she finds the show progressive or regressive, Tejaswi told IANS in an interview over phone from Mumbai: “I think it’s really progressive. But again, a lot of people believe in judging a book by its cover… They love being judgmental and people have nothing better to do than judging somebody else’s work. Then okay, what can I do?” In the show, the 25-year-old actress is paired with the much younger Afaan Khan. The talk in the industry is that with the Sony Entertainment Television’s new show, the content on small screen has hit a new low. What does Tejaswi have to say? “I dont think so,” pat came the reply from the actress, who added: “I feel it’s just a story and fiction. It’s just a story that we are telling people. So how can you judge any story? You like it okay, you don’t like it, so, you don’t like it. Tejaswi also drew a comparison between the show to the most popular American fantasy drama “Game of Thrones”, created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. “It also happened in ‘Game Of Thrones’… People love ‘Game Of Thrones’ and if same thing happens in ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’, then it’s an issue,” she added. But is all the criticism courted by the show affecting the actress? “No, I’m an actor. I just get my script, go on the set and I perform. Honestly, I’m not on a lot of social sites to be aware of any such comments… I am only active on Instagram. Nobody calls and says anything to me. It’s probably the creatives… They should talk to the creatives about the criticism,” said Tejaswi, who was also seen in “Swaragini”. She also doesn’t find it awkward that a TV show is showcasing the odd pair in a ‘suhag raat’ and honeymoon sequence.

Asked if she finds this content fit for viewing and not cringe-worthy, Tejaswi said: “No, it’s not what a normal ‘suhag raat’ and honeymoon is like. Obviously, me and Ratan are not married to have babies. It’s different. Once people watch it and then they find it yucky or anything, then I would be fine and understand. “There is nothing wrong that we have shown.” The show’s storyline is essentially about a nine-year-old’s parents getting killed in a planned blast, and the child’s father asking the woman to marry his baby boy to protect him from the people who are trying to kill him. How would the viewers able to connect with the circumstances and the characters of Divya and Ratan? “I think the audience will be able to connect and I think they are being able to connect only because of the strong character who is able to decisions at the age of 18 and save his (Ratan’s) life for her own happiness… Also, we have shown the fact that she has taken the decision (of marrying him) and it even shows how much freedom she has got from her own family to able to make a decision like that.” Tejaswi feels that “there’s lot of strength we are showing for a girl that age.”
