Lakshya gets emotional as family manages to save him

We were the first to inform you that Durgaprasad (Nagesh Salwan) will get a heart attack in Swaragini due to Adarsh’s (Tarun Singh) treachery. He will be admitted and the family would have no resources to save him. However, the family would then sell off its jewels and somehow manage to save him. There will be an extremely emotional scene in the hospital where Sujata (Sonica Handa) will be seen hugging Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) who is very happy. Lakshya (Namish Taneja) will be in tears. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) will console him.

However, a bigger twist awaits as Adarsh and Parineeta will take DP and Annapurna home. Lakshya and co will wonder why has that happened. In the mean time, Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) will wonder how to bring Parineeta and Adarsh to book. We know that how badly Adarsh treated Lakshya when he went to the Maheshwari mansion to ask for money. The sisters will want revenge for this.

The entire family is staying at Dida’s house in Baadi now. We know that Daadi (Alka Kaushal) has thrown out everyone from her home. It seems like the sisters will fabricate a nasty plan against Parineeta, which will leave her shattered. The brothers will also support them.

Swaragini’s recent drama has helped the show revive it ratings somewhat on the TRP charts with 1.6 last week. The TRPs had fallen a lot and makers are bringing back the plotting and scheming that is the highlight of the show.

The current plot is also seeing a lot of off-screen bonding between the men. Tarun, Namish and Amar Sharma (Ram Prasad) are having a gala time off the sets as well.

What do you think the sisters will plan against Parineeta? We feel it will be something quite bad after all the trauma she made them undergo. It seems it is not her but Adarsh whom they want to teach a lesson for obeying his wife so blinding. Swara (Helly Shah) is out of Jhalak and devoting entire time on the show. Durgaprasad is safe but Swara lands in police custody

The Maheshwari family watches as Durgaprasad is taken to the operation theatre. They manage enough money for the surgery but the hospital says that they need more Rs five lakhs to keep him in the ICU. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) gets tensed but says he will arrange for the cash. When he walks out, he sees Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) who asks him about money. He says I have arranged for some money but there is need for more. Shekhar calls Sharmishtha (Parineeta Borthakur) who says she will sell off her khandani ring to get more funds. Laksh (Namish Taneja) comes to the hospital and asks how is his father. The doctors say he is fine but needs medical attention. He hugs his mother. Annapurna, his mother cries a lot. Laksh tells his mother not to cry and consoles her. Sujata also gets teary-eyed.

Sharmishtha goes to Daadi (Alka Kaushal) and asks for her ring. She refuses to give it saying that she, as a daughter-in-law brought it with her in dowry and now it is hers. Moreover, she has thrown her and Shekhar out of this house and nothing belongs to them as of now. She tells Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) that she refused. They feel sad and wonder how Daadi can do something of this sort. Swara says we need the ring. Shumi says it is in the locker. Swara says we will get it somehow. Ram tells Shekhar that he has some land in a far off place, he can sell that and raise funds. Sujata says she won’t let him go there alone. Shekhar says he will go with Ram.

Swara keeps fish outside Daadi’s doorstep. She feels the stink and steps out. On seeing the fish, she screams who spoiled the sanctity of my Marwari home. She removes them and goes to change her sari. Swara and Ragini step inside, take the locker keys from her sari and open the locker. Daadi gets inside the room and the sisters hide behind the bed. She gets suspicious and looks around but they escape. Swara has managed to get the ring to be pawned off at a jeweller’s store.

At the hospital, Durgaprasad opens his eyes. Laksh says Papa and starts crying. Sanskar gives him a tight hug. The doctor says he is fine only his medicines need to be managed. Sujata tells Annapurna that Bhaisa (Durgaprasad) is fine and she should be happy. Outside, the doctor tells the brothers that all deposited money is over as they had to use very expensive injections during the operation.

Swara and Ragini go to the jewellery shop where the man takes the ring and says he will get back to them with the valuation. Swara gets a call and tells Sujata that they are coming to the hospital soon. The jeweller calls the police, gives them the ring and says here is the stolen ring. They say it is their ancestral property and they have not stolen it. The police says they are girls from Gadodia family and says he has seen Swara in jail before. They say they will be taken to Gadodia’s place and released only after questioning.

In the precap, we saw the police arresting Swara while Parineeta makes an entry inside the hospital…

There is more high voltage drama on the show

In last night’s episode we saw how Swara (Helly Shah) stole the ancestral ring to arrange funds for Durgaprasad’s medical expenses. We know that the hospital needs Rs five lakhs more. They took it to a jeweller where the man called the police.

We will see Parineeta entering the hospital and saying that she has money for DP’s treatment. Sujata (Sonica Handa) gets happy. She says she will take Annapurna and DP home. They are in a fix. Will they leave Swara and Ragini’s (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) side in this moment? Parineeta and Daadi (Alka Kaushal) have joined hands to get Swara and Ragini separated. Daadi will tell police that theft is Swara’s idea and Ragini is innocent. It seems Daadi and Parineeta want to usurp the entire property of the Maheshwaris.

The police will arrest Swara and she will be tortured in jail. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) and Laksh (Namish Taneja) will come to her rescue. The highlight will be when Sanskar will soundly thrash the police officer for mistreating his wife. It will be a high-voltage sequence and the actors have already finished shooting for it. To add more insult to injury, the inspector will try to molest Swara. This will lead to a scuffle between Sanky and him. Fans are very excited to see him in action mode. The two sisters are distraught that Daadi has decided to ruin their life in this manner. Daadi is hatching an evil plan to separate Swara and Ragini so that she along with Parineeta can enjoy the wealth of the Maheshwaris.

It seems Sanskar and Laksh will unite with their wives to teach this duo a lesson. We feel Sujata and Ram will also be in their team. The track is now focusing on family, wealth and plotting. Fans are missing the SwaSan and RagLak tracks which used to be the highlight. However, let us not forget that Swaragini is known for its plotting and scheming. Swara gets into jail and a desperate Ragini tries to save her

The police comes to Gadodia house where Daadi (Alka Kaushal) says yes the ring is stolen. She says both the girls have stolen the ring. Inspector says it is your household matter but Daadi calls Swara (Helly Shah) a thief. Sharmishtha (Parineeta Borthakur) protests saying that the ring is hers and it is not a theft. She tells Daadi how can she get Swara arrested when Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) is not there. The police takes Swara away. Daadi insults Sharmistha calling her a ring leader of thieves. She says bad blood runs in her mother and Swara.

Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) tells Daadi that you have done whatever you could but now it is my turn. She says Swara is my sister and she will do whatever it takes to get her sister out of jail. The title track of Swaragini plays. She calls Laksh (Namish Taneja) and says Swara has been arrested. At the police station, Swara says to the cops that her method was wrong but they needed the money. And the fact is the ring belongs to her grandmother.

Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) and Laksh reach where she says sorry to him for increasing problems of the family. He says I am proud of you that you always think of your family. He says the entire Maheshwari family is behind her. Laksh calls the lawyer.

At the hospital, Durgaprasad is removed from ICU. Annapurna protests but male nurse says he cannot stay in the ICU or in general ward. They say he will be kept outside the hospital as family cannot take them home. Parineeta calls Daadi and says DP has been kicked out of the hospital. She says he would be feeling he was better dead than seeing such insult. Daadi tells Parineeta that Swara is in jail. She gets ecstatic and says God is being extra kind on them today.

Annapurna pleads with the doctor and says please let her husband be in the room. She is about to beg when Parineeta walks in and says no Mummyji. She tells the doctor to take DP to the ICU and that she will bear the expenses. She says she cannot leave him in trouble. Sujata says this proves our family is still together. She gets happy and says we have forgiven your mistakes. Pari says I do not need your forgiveness but you people need my mercy.

She says I am footing the hospital bills as I want to take my in-laws home. She says I have full rights on them. As of now, everything belongs to Adarsh (Tarun Singh) and me. The doctor tells Annapurna that the hospital will file a case on them if they don’t pay the money. She tells Annapurna what is more important, her husband’s life or her decision to stay away from her.

Sujata (Sonica Handa) calls Parineeta a low life. She tells her that my Jiji won’t go anywhere. Doctor threatens Annapurna that he will call the lawyers to file case against them. Sujata calls Sanskar and says that Parineeta is talking about taking DP and Annapurna home. He informs Swara of the trouble. Ragini tells Sanskar and Laksh to go to the hospital while she will manage Swara. They take a cab and rush to the hospital.

Sanskar and Laksh enter the hospital where Sujata is crying. She says that Annapurna went with Parineeta as she blackmailed her with money. She says Jiji agreed as she could not see her husband suffer. She says that even DP did not want to go home.

At the station, Ragini calls up the lawyer and says he has to find out a method. She also calls up the police superintendent. The male inspector comes there and asks her to leave. The cop sets his eyes on Swara. He checks her out. Ragini comes to the house of the police superintendent to ask for Swara’s release. Ragini shouts from outside that her sister has been wrongly arrested and she is there alone without a lady constable.

A crowd gathers there and shows pity on Ragini. The guards chase them off.

In the pre-cap, Parineeta tells Annapurna that her place is in the store room now that they are owners of the house. Ragini begs the top cop while the Inspector tries to molest Swara.

Namish Taneja, one of the youngest members of the Swaragini cast celebrated his birthday yesterday. Incidentally, the actor also did the immersion of his Ganpati Bappa yesterday. It was a doubly festive occasion. The actor threw a small birthday party at home. Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar, Helly Shah, Alka Kaushal, Shalini Kapoor Sagar, Amar Sharma and Tarun Sharma attended the party. A tent was erected in the compound and a sumptuous spread was laid out for the guests. Namish’s family, mom and dad had flown down from Delhi. It was their first Ganpati celebration in Mumbai. His sister Mahiya made the arrangements. Helly Shah danced for the Ganpati Visarjan. The actor had brought in people to play the dhol. Surely, Helly’s stint on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has helped her. Swaragini’s Swara made an early exit while Tejaswi who came in later stayed till the wee hours. Shalini who plays his onscreen mother, Annapurna got a gift for her baby boy. Varun Kapoor could not make it as he had some work. Tarun who plays Adarsh also danced a lot. Namish and he are extremely close.

Delhi-boy Namish Taneja started celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi after coming to Mumbai. He has been keeping the idol at his home since a couple of years. His sister, Mahiya lives in Mumbai and she is the one who manages everything. The Swaragini cast had a gala time bonding with Namish’s family. A choreographer by profession, Namish has done shows like Ekk Nayi Pehchaan, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya but his biggest ticket to fame has been Swaragini. People love his chemistry with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) on the show.

Namish said, “Coincidentally, my birthday and Ganpati Visarjan was on the same day. On one hand, I was quite happy and excited because it was my birthday and on the other hand, I was a bit sad as our beloved Bappa was going back to his home (only to come back next year).” Because of the Ganpati Visarjan at home, Namish couldn’t manage to throw a birthday party, so he decided to organize a small get together. He said, “Birthdays are always special, but my family, friends and fans made it even more special with all their wonderful wishes. The episode begins with Laksh trying to hide the parcel when Ragini walks in and asks what’s in it. Laksh hides the parcel and tells her it’s nothing. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar), worried about Laksh (Namish Taneja), asks him to not do anything wrong or stupid. Laksh distracts her and asks her to have breakfast. Meanwhile, Sanskar’s boss asks him to give Rs. 2 lakhs to a client. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) does so without checking the client’s name or anything and sends the receipt to his boss. His boss thinks he has written Rs. 2,80,000 on it and ponders over what Adarsh said.

Sujata finds the parcel under the bed while sweeping the floor and panics. She thinks that Adarsh and Parineeta have planted a bomb or something and calls everyone in the room. Swara (Helly Shah) asks her to relax and tries to open the parcel when Laksh comes and stops her. He snaps at her and asks her to stay out of it. Ragini then asks him why he is overreacting and what’s in the parcel. Laksh realises what he did and apologises to Swara telling her that it’s a friend’s parcel.

Swara explains to Ragini that maybe he is just upset that Annapurna and Durga Prasad are not at home. Ragini is left wondering what to do as Laksh seals the package again.

Meanwhile, Annapurna puts a wet cloth over Durga Prasad’s head to bring down his fever. DP is still thinking about Adarsh’s words as Annapurna asks him not to worry. She assures him that their family won’t break under any circumstances. Parineeti challenges her that her sons and daughter-in-laws will never be able to free them.

Sumi’s baby starts crying and Daadi comes out of the house to ask why her son is crying. She speaks to her rudely and asks her why she gave birth to a kid if she can’t take care of it. Ragini fumes and gives Daadi some cotton buds so she doesn’t get disturbed by a child’s cries. She questions her motherhood and asks her how she can say such things to another mother. The neighbours take Ragini’s side and remind Daadi that Shekhar, too, used to wail as a kid and Daadi couldn’t control him.

In office, Sanskar returns the extra Rs. 80,000 to his boss and tells his boss that he had asked him to pay only 2 lakh and that he thought maybe the boss added extra money by mistake. His boss is happy with his honesty and brushes off what Adarsh said about him. Adarsh calls Daadi and asks her to peep into Sanskar’s house to see what their situation is. Daadi tells him that Sanskar and Swara are perfectly happy. Adarsh gets confused by this and tells Daadi that he got Sanskar fired today.

He confronts Sanskar’s boss and asks him why he didn’t fire him. The boss says that he finds Sanskar to be a sincere and honest person. Adarsh tells him that it’s just a trick and forces him to give Sanskar yet another responsibility. Mr. Chatterjee (Sanskar’s boss) gives Sanskar Rs. 20 lakhs and asks him to deposit it in the bank. Sanskar asks if he can take the office car to which the boss agrees. Meanwhile, Adarsh calls the goons and asks them to do what he said.

Rashmi Sharma, the producer of shows like Saath Nibhana Saathiya , Swaragini , Sasural Simar Ka and Jai Santoshi Maa has turned a film producer with her maiden film ‘Pink’ releasing this week. Last night, the film premiere was graced by famous TV bahus, who had come to cheer up Rashmi on her film debut. The most gung-ho amongst all the bahus was Gopi of Saathiya that is Devoleena Bhattacharjee who along with her brigade made the evening a special one. Other TV faces who attended the premiere of Pink were the team of Swaragini. Helly Shah and Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar were seen bonding with their co-stars Namish Taneja. Devoleena was accompanied by co-stars from Saath Nibhana Saathiya were Lovey Sasan, Kajal Pisal, Utkarsha Naik, Rashmi Singh, Vandana Vithlani and Vandana Pathak. Dheeraj Dhoopar from Sasural Simar Ka was present along with Jayati Bhatia (Mataji), Manish Raisinghani (Siddhant) and Aryeman.

From ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’, Ratan Rajput made it to the evening. Many other TV actors were also present from the fraternity. The lead actor of the show Angad Bedi is from the sports fraternity. He is the son of Bishan Singh Bedi and a former Delhi cricketer. Ex-India players Zaheer Khan and Ajit Agarkar came to support him. Pink stars Amitabh Bachchan with Tapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang. The film is directed by Aniruddha Rai Chaudhary.

Like Rashmi Sharma serials, Pink is also a women-oriented film and touches the topic of gender violence. It is a story set in Delhi, where three girls played by Tapsee, Kirti and Andrea get into a trouble when Rajveer that is Angad Bedi and his friends try to molest her. What follows next is their trials and tribulations and comes in a disoriented lawyer Deepak Sehgal played by Amitabh Bachchan. What follows next is a court room drama where Deepak gets these girls justice. Along with Rashmi Sharma, Pink is produced by Shoojit Sircar who made Vicky Donor and Piku. The film is shot on real locations of Delhi and releases this week.

The troubles seem to be never-ending for the Maheshwari family in Swaragini. We know that Adarsh (Tarun Singh) and Parineeta (Aakanksha Chamola) are torturing Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor Sagar) and Durgaprasad (Nagesh Salwan). Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) also lost his job due to Adarsh’s evil schemes. In the coming episodes, the sisters will come to know that Laksh (Namish Taneja) is on the wrong path.

We know that he tried to get a job but only faced humiliation from friends and well-wishers. Then, Laksh went down the illegal route to get money for his parents. In the coming episodes, Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) is about to clean the room when she spots a bundle of notes. Shocked, Swara (Helly Shah), Sanskar and Ragini will ask Laksh from where did he get the money but he’ll say that it is from a friend. They will sense that he is doing something wrong. Will they manage to save Laksh before he gets caught by the police?

In another sequence, the sisters will try to bring the plight of Durgaprasad to the whole world but Adarsh will tell him to keep quiet or else he will kill Swara and Ragini’s parents. Seeing this torture, Annapurna and Durgaprasad will stay quiet before the media.

Varun Kapoor with his wife, Dhanya Mohan, Sonica Handa (Sujata), Nikita Sharma (Kavita), Namish Taneja and many others were present at the house party. Today, it is Engineers Day. In our country, everyone aspires to be an engineer first and everything else later on. This holds true for these TV actors. They all studied engineering as it was the safest and trendiest thing to do in life. However, they were as confused about engineering after getting their degree. We are not complaining. Some of the most talented actors on TV are engineers by qualification. We guess their eye for detail helps:

Manish Raisinghani
A mechanical engineer by profession, Manish enjoyed a successful career as a model before switching on to TV. He is seen as Siddhant Bharadwaj on Sasural Simar Ka. Recently, he was in Cannes to showcase his short film, Ankahee Baatein. He is also a very good photographer.

Varun Kapoor 
Loved as Sanskar on Swaragini, he has a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Pune’s Sinhagad Engineering College. The actor says he was pretty studious but finally realized that engineering wasn’t his cup of tea. Luckily, he got short-listed for Channel’s V, Humse Hai Life and millions of girls got lucky! The actor says his elder brother is an engineer as well and taking up the stream was the thing to do while growing up.

Harshita Gaur
The feisty Sanjukta from Sadda Haq has done her degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Amity University, Delhi. She got modelling offers right from her college days.

Aham Sharma
We loved him as Arjun in Mahabharat and Manmarziyan but few know that hottie Aham Sharma completed his engineering from Indore before venturing into the glamour industry.

Roop Durgapal
Currently seen as Natasha in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, she holds a B. Tech in Instrumentation and Control Engineering. The lady worked in Infosys for a while before her good looks attracted the attention of talent hunters in the glamour industry.

Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar
Hailing from a family of engineers, Tejaswi completed her degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering while shooting for Swaragini. The young lady said it her dad’s dream to see her as an engineer and she made it. Juggling shoots and studies was not an easy task but the girl has a lot of determination, you see!

Ravi Dubey
The handsome actor came to Mumbai from Delhi to pursue a degree in Telecom Engineering. Post his studies, he entered into a modelling contest and life changed for him.

Karan V Grover
We simply adore him as the crazy genius Shaan in Bahu Humari Rajnikant but Karan V Grover is a chemical engineer by qualification and actor by passion. He will be soon seen in a Mahesh Bhatt production.

Karthik Jayaram
The South Indian actor has done quite a few films down South but gained popularity with Hindi audiences with his role of Ravaan in Siya Ke Ram.

They says good education is never wasted. This is irrespective of the vocation you choose in life. While they might not have shined as engineers, they did use their skills to improve themselves in life.

Swaragini begins on a tense note. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) asks Laksh (Namish Taneja) from where did he get the cash. Daadi (Alka Kaushal) wonders why is everyone awake in the house. She peeps inside. Laksh says you people are staring at me because of this money. He says my friend has given it. Sanskar asks who is this friend and where was he when Durgaprasad was struggling in hospital. Swara (Helly Shah) asks who is he and why have we not met him so far. Laksh says why are you all over-reacting. Sujata asks why have you been hiding the money? She asks if he has stolen it. Laksh says my friend has given me the money. Swara says we will accept just make us talk to him once. Laksh gets disturbed. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) takes him aside and says I want to talk to you. Swara says please make us talk to your friend as we want to thank him. Ragini tells people to leave him alone as he is wounded. She dresses his cut.

Laksh slips and falls down. Notes come tumbling out of his shirt. Sujata, Swara and Ragini look on shocked. Sanskar asks which new friend has given more cash. He asks if you are hiding something from us. Laksh says what will I do? Sanskar says it is not the answer. Laksh tells him to question Adarsh and Parineeta about the mistreatment meted out to his parents. Sanskar says I am not sitting here to judge them. I only care about you and want to find out if you are doing something wrong under forced circumstances.

He says right, wrong, sin or good, nothing matters to me. I only care about money. My objective is to only remove from parents from there. And even if I have to murder someone to relive my parents I will do it. He says I cannot see my parents in tears. They gave me so much happiness and I will helpless that I cannot do anything for them.

Sanskar hugs him and says I understand you. He says going on the wrong path won’t help you. Laksh says I won’t be a good boy irrespective of whatever people say. Swara says you do not worry, Ragini and I have spoken to human rights organisation about the release of our parents.

The women from the organisation walk in and say Durgaprasad has said that he will live there with Adarsh and has blamed Swara and Ragini for their misfortunes. Sujata says it is a lie. She shows the papers to them. Swara cries it is a lie and they have been forced into it. The woman says it might be possible but legally we cannot help you. Ragini begs them to reconsider. They leave. Laksh says take the right turn to the door.

Laksh says why is everyone quiet. He says you guys told me to live on the right path, see who is supporting us. Adarsh showed us the reality of our times. He says the times of Raja Harishchandra have gone. He says Sanskar when you were on wrong path, you had a firm called Karma Industries. When Adarsh was good he was only a relative when he turned bad, he become an owner. Laksh says I will do what I want. Sanskar opposes him.

Laksh says I will do what I want. He tells Sanskar to arrange Rs five lakhs and he will accept his ideas. He says you are my brother, I can give you five months but I cannot let me parents die in that hell hole for five months. Sanskar says it is easy to enter the world of crime but once you enter, you just cannot get out. He says I am fed up of being helpless, poor and humiliated. Laksh picks up the notes and Ragini looks on shocked.

Before leaving he says please do not try to stop me or else I will break relations with you all. Ragini says Laksh! They share an eye-lock. Swara is in tears. Sujata says God alone knows what is wrong with Laksh. She prays to God to save him. Sharmishta and Swara console Swara.

Swaragini began with the inspector accusing Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) of bribing him. Sanskar grabs his collar and says I won’t leave you. The inspector pushes him. Swara (Helly Shah) holds him and says Sanskar. The inspector says I would have behaved badly with you worst that how I did with Laksh (Namish Taneja) but I am sparing you as you are a friend. He says I have taken money. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) pleads before the cop to release Laksh. She says he only did this for his parents. He says I would have done something for you but due to Sanskar I cannot help you. Ragini falls at his feet saying she only wants her husband back.

The inspector says chargesheet has been filed and he cannot be released. He says everything comes at a price. He says you have an hour. He says Adarsh (Tarun Singh) paid me Rs 2 lakhs, you give me Rs 5 lakhs, I will help you and dismiss the case. Ragini says she will get the money. Swara asks Ragini not to fall into the trap, she says someone will help us legally. Not every cop is corrupt.

Ragini says I do not wish to hear anything, please let me go. The inspector says you have only one hour. At 12pm, I will file the chargesheet and there is no guarantee of Laksh’s release post that. Ragini tells Laksh to have faith in her and that she will be back with cash to release him. She says after that we will leave this city. They look at each other and cry.

Sanskar says Ragini please listen to me. She says I will never ever listen to you. I made a mistake listening to you. Ragini says I will release my husband and you won’t be able to do anything to keep him behind the bars. Swara says Ragini stop.

Laksh looks at Sanskar angrily. A flashback is shown. Sanskar says this is plotted by Adarsh. He says you wanted me to mend I would not have objected if you kept me in jail all my life. He said I would not have believed it if the police did not show me the video. I could not believe that you did all this. You did not do the right thing Sanskar, says Laksh.

Ragini runs desperately on the road. The words of the inspector run in her ears. She is about to faint when a car comes before her. It is about to knock her over but Swara rescues her. They fall on the ground. Swara screams all this is plotted by Adarsh bhaiyya. Swara begs her to understand.

At the hospital the doctor tells Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) and Sumi (Parineeta Borthakur) that the baby is quite critical. He says a child specialist has to be called for the kid and that will cost around Rs 2-3 lakhs. Shekhar tells Sumi not to worry and he will get the cash.

Laksh tells Sanskar why did he do that. Why did he ruin Ragini and his life for Swara and him. He tells Sanskar to leave and says he does not want to see his face for a lifetime. Sanskar says we are brothers. Laksh says people say right a man might change but his characteristics do not change. He says the day I come out of jail I will punish you in the worst way possible. No brother will think of cheating ever after that. Sanskar says I did not know that our relationship was so weak. He says I will prove myself innocent in the next 40 minutes. He says I am your brother and did not wish to see you go down the wrong path. Sanskar says I will prove myself innocent as I do not wish to be known as a betrayer in relationships.

Ragini comes home and screams Ma and Papa. Swara pleads Ragini to listen and understand her viewpoint. She looks for money. Ragini finds Laksh’s Rs two lakhs missing. A scene is shown where Daadi (Alka Kaushal) has entered the house in Shekhar and Sumi’s absence and stolen away the jewellery and cash. The doctor tells Sumi that he needs the money to begin the operation. Shekhar sits in a tea stall dejected as everyone has refused to give him money. Crying, Sumi calls him and says baby’s treatment cannot be started till money comes.

An upset Ragini wonders where is the jewellery and cash. Swara tells her not to worry. Ragini says I have only half an hour to arrange for money. She tells Swara that her Laksh is suffering only because of her Sanskar. Swara tells her that she is having misunderstanding. Nothing will happen to him. Ragini says Laksh is her world. She says she can go to any extreme. Ragini tells Swara that only Adarsh is not at fault. She says even Sanskar is involved. He has got Rs 10 crores. She begs Swara to give her Rs 5 lakhs from that Rs 10 crore. She says it is a small amount and it will save her husband. Ragini says I will free him and go away from here. She requests for five lakhs and says she will go away from Sanskar and her life forever. Ragini says assume that I am dead. Swara slaps her hard.

Swaragini begins with Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) slapping each other. Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) walks in and asks why are you girls fighting when you need to be together in these tough times. She narrates the entire story of how Laksh (Namish Taneja) was trapped into a smuggling case. Sanskar enters into the Maheshwari mansion. The watchman halts him. He says if you have ever respected us then stay back. He screams Adarsh Maheshwari. Parineeta tells him to enjoy his tea. Adarsh says it is Sanskar’s voice. He walks in with a wooden stick. Adarsh looks on shocked. Parineeta gets up from her seat and asks what happened. Adarsh says what are you doing Bhai? Sanskar says I respected our brotherly bond a lot. He says you broke our relations, I will break your ego. He says a duty of an elder brother is to correct his younger siblings. He says I knew you were a bad person but you are horrible. He said you robbed our home but you separated Laksh and me. You have to come to police station with me or else I will kill you. Adarsh says what rubbish are you talking, leave from here. Sanskar grabs him by the collar and hits him with the stick. The brothers fight. Parineeta rushes to him. He is about to hit him but Parineeta comes in front. She begs for his life. Sanskar says I heard that bhabhi is like a mother but you only stink of greed. There is no maternal instincts in you. Sanskar says you are a cheat, you kept our parents in store room and separated us. Adarsh says why do you want to commit a crime and dirty your hands. He says sometimes to clean the muck one has to get his hands dirty. He says I will hit you. He is about to beat him but Annapurna holds his hand. She tells him to hit her. He says Adarsh conspires against us.

In Baadi, Shekhar tells Swara and Ragini that they have two problems, one is saving Laksh and Ayush. Swara asks what is happening and we need money desperately. Ragini says she has little time. Shekhar tells her that you need to support each other. They overhear Daadi (Alka Kaushal) talking on the phone to a friend. She is heard telling her that she will give her Rs 10 lakhs and she has the money. The sisters look on. Ragini and Shekhar decide to approach Daadi. Swara tells them to stop saying how can you trust her. Shekhar says I cannot let my ego come in between my son’s life. Ragini pushes her aside and they go to Daadi. Swara remembers Shekhar’s words when he left the home. Shekhar and Ragini walk towards Daadi.
Annapurna tells Sanskar to leave the Maheshwari mansion. She says I saw the video where you implicated Laksh. She calls him a fraud, she says you pretended to be a ideal son. He says Maa.She says shut up, I hate it when you guys call me Mother. She says I cannot expect anything from you. She says I kept Sujata like a younger sister but she stabbed a danger in my heart. He says mom is not in town. Annapurna says I heard what Adarsh told your mother. He calls Sujata. She says I got the one crore which you sent me. When will you send me the remaining nine crores, asks Sujata. Ragini and Shekhar enter inside Daadi’s house. He says we need money desperately. He falls on her feet saying my son is about to die. Ragini cries Daadimaa please help me. Daadi stares at her. She falls at her feet. Ragini says I have to free Laksh and need Rs five lakhs. Swara looks at the scene with tears rolling down her eyes. Ragini weeps and her tears fall on Daadi’s feet. Yaa Devi plays. Daadi gives a nasty and victorious look at Swara.

Swaragini begins with Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash) trying to talk to Daadi, who is pretending to talk to Sumitra. Shekhar begs in front of her and says he needs money for Ayush’s treatment. Daadi smirks. Swara (Helly Shah) cries. Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) takes the call. Sujata is on the other line. She tells him to take Rs 9 crores from Adarsh and come to her. She says she cannot live in poor conditions anymore. She says you come to me. Sanskar shouts mom. Annapurna says you heard her didn’t you. Durgaprasad is shocked. Adarsh says will you take the money with you or should I transfer it to her account. Sanskar gets upset and tells Adarsh (Tarun Singh) that his true character will be evident before the world some day. He promises to unite his family one day. Adarsh says everything is over now, Parineeta gives him a nasty look.

Daadi brings the money and tells Ragini and Shekhar that she needs something in return. Ragini says Daadimaa. She tells Ragini that you people did not think of me when you left me four days back. I was hurt when my family walked away like this. She says the money matters now but they have to agree to her conditions. Desperately, Swara calls Sanskar and he says he will come home in a while. Daadi says here are my conditions. She says something that leave both Shekhar and Ragini shocked. She says if you do not agree your lives will be ruined. She tells them to decide fast.

Swara tells Sanskar that everything is against them now. They hold hands and go to Daadi’s house. They see Shekhar and Ragini with money. Swara says Baba but he says he has to go now. They leave. Daadi tells Swara that she is successful in separating Swara and Ragini. She says you always thought you were clever but I am the Queen. Swara is stunned. Daadi closes the door.

Ragini runs to jail and frees Laksh (Namish Taneja). She says she has kept the promise. Inspector tells Laksh that money is more important than relations now. He further instigates him against Sanskar. The doctor tells Shumi that Ayush should get better now. She is happy and asks Shekhar about the money. He says maa gave it. Shumi praises Maa but then hears her condition and is stunned. Sanskar tells Swara that Sujata has done this. Laksh and Ragini walk inside. He is about to fall and they rush to him but Ragini tells them to stop. With great difficulty, Laksh stands at one place. Sanskar feels helpless thinking that he failed to prove his innocence. Laksh looks at him angrily. Ragini goes inside and Swara runs behind her. She says she wants to talk to her once. She tells Swara that Laksh and she are leaving Kolkata and won’t keep any relations with them. Swaragini begins with Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash) ending her relationship with Swara (Helly Shah). The latter tells her to give her a chance to prove their innocence. She says Laksh (Namish Taneja) is unwell. She says Swara is incomplete without Ragini. On hearing this, Ragini tells emotional. Then, she remembers the video and all that happened in the police station. She tells Swara that their relations have ended now. She says if I give you a chance, you’ll break my trust once again. Ragini says it is good that we do not share the same mother or else it would be more painful. She says I have given up our relationship in my deal with Daadi. She tells Swara that their greed ruined Laksh’s life but she saved it. She breaks all their snaps and says relations are like glass pieces that do not join back.

Ragini packs her bags and gets out of the room with her veena. Swara follows her. Daadi (Alka Kaushal) tells Ragini that is she ready Panditji has come. Swara asks her what are you doing? She says I am doing Shraddh of our relationship. She gets shocked.

Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) tells Sumi that he is ending their relationship as his mother asked for it. Sumi says he cannot do so. He says this happened because you could not look after the baby. He says you are unfit to be woman and I cannot forgive you. Laksh asks Ragini what is the drama. She says it is the shraddh of Swara and my relationship. She says I am burning all our memories. Happy, Daadi says she will call neighbours to see this. Swara tells Ragini that she won’t let her do so.

Laksh says Ragini I will also do shraddh of my relationship with Sanskar (Varun Kapoor). Swara and Sanskar are shocked. Daadi smiles and gives an evil look. Ragini takes out the snaps and puts them in the havan kund. Laksh is seated beside her. Shekhar takes Sumi (Parineeta Borthakur) to lawyer’s office where he forces her to sign on the divorce papers. She begs Shekhar not to force her but he does not listen. The lawyer leaves the room. Swaragini begins with Daadi doing Shraddh Pooja of Swara and Sanskaar. In the meantime, Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) wipes off Sumi’s (Parineeta Borthakur) sindoor. She cries badly. Shekhar snatches the mangalsutra from Sumi’s neck and says he needs it as proof to show they are divorced. The lawyer says the marriage is void now. Panditji says the shraddh is complete. Daadi blesses Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) and Laksh (Namish Taneja). Annapurna (Shalini Kapoor) comes there. Laksh hugs her. She says you have suffered a lot now come home with me.

Swara (Helly Shah) goes to take her blessings but she looks at her with hatred. She says now I know who are genuine relatives and who are just for namesake. She says Adarsh (Tarun Singh) has apologised and tells Laksh to come home. Ragini says Adarsh has done so many bad things with you. Annapurna says he had a reason and has backstabbed us on our face. Swara thinks some big conspiracy has been hatched and tries to say something and says Badi Maa. Annapurna tells her to shut up. Daadi tells Ragini and Laksh to go with her.

Then, Daadi gives dakshina to Panditji. She says I am very happy today. Shekhar walks in with Sumi’s mangalsutra. Daadi says I am happy that my son is back and I can live peacefully. Swara asks why is Maa’s mangalsutra with you. Sumi walks in, she is in shock. Swara and Sanskar hold her. They see the divorce papers. Daadi tells Swara that their relations are broken. Shekhar is not Sumi’s husband or her father anymore. They are stunned. She tells Sumi not to look at Shekhar ever again. Swara and Sanskar take Sumi to Dida’s house. Shekhar once tries to look at her but Dida comes in between. Sumi recalls the deal between Daadi and Shekhar. She cries and says everything is finished. Swara also remembers how Ragini told her that she did a deal with Daadi like Sanskar did with Adarsh. She cries bitterly. Shekhar is also crying in his house. Swara comes and cries hugging Sanskar. Stay tuned for more updates on BollywoodLife…

Laksh (Namish Taneja) goes to meet Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) and sees him having tea by a tea stall alone. He taunts Sanskar about being alone not being the most valued person in the family. Sanskar asks him to shut up but Laksh goes on about how Sanskar played games with the family and it’s karma that’s punishing him. Sanskar loses his cool and slaps Laksh. The two get into a brawl in middle of the street. Meanwhile, at the Maheshwari mansion, Swara (Helly Shah) meets Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) to tell her that it’s conspiracies by Pari and Adarsh to divide the family. Ragini refuses to believe Swara and asks her to leave the house immediately as everything between them is over now.

Swara asks Ragini why Adarsh let Laksh get arrested if he really cared about him, why did he pay the money to get Durag Prasad treated only to get them home and torture them and why Dad hasn’t taken Laksh and Ragini home after giving them the money. A confused Ragini asks her why she is asking all these questions and Swara tells her that all of this has been Adarsh and Parineeta’s conspiracy. Durga Prasad interferes and tells Swara that it really is a conspiracy. Laskh and Sanskar are beating each other up as Laksh calls his mother names and tells him that he has learnt all of this from his mother. Sanskar warns him to not call his mother. Swara asks them if Parineeta and Adarsh are forcing them to accuse her and Sanskar. Durga Prasad says that it was a conspiracy not by Parineeta and Adarsh but by her and Sanskar. He tells her that he is done with her and Sanskar, he asks her to leave and never come back again. Swara cries and requests Durga Prasad to trust her when Annapoorna interferes and tells him not to trust her crocodile tears. She tells him how Swara just talks people into believing her every time and lands them in trouble. Durga Prasad calls the security guards to escort her out of the house.

Swara takes out a gun and threatens to shoot herself if they don’t believe her. She says family is more important to her than money. Ragini refuses to believe Swara and taunts her about giving them fake threats. Just as Swara is about to shoot herself Durga Prasad holds her hand and turns it so the bullet sets off in another direction. Everybody is shocked to see Durga Prasad save Swara. Parineeta and Adarsh are furious with him for saving her.

He clarifies that he doesn’t trust Swara but just wanted to avoid bloodshed in the house. They ask Swara to leave and Ragini asks her to stop all the drama. Swara stops Ragini and tells her that she is going now but soon Ragini herself will come looking for her as their bond is still strong.

Swaragini begins with Laksh (Namish Taneja) telling Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) that his aim is to not to kill him but to see him suffer. And every time he will see him in pain, he will remind Sanskar of his treachery. He goes home. Swara (Helly Shah) cries Sanskar and gives him water. Sanskar says I am ok. Narrating his encounter with Laksh, he says it is okay if he abuses me but I cannot bear a word against my family. Swara says I tried to talk to Ragini but it was useless. Sanskar tells Swara that we will not keep any relation with the Maheshwaris. Swara says it is not possible. He says I have made a decision that we won’t keep any relationship with them. He says my family is my own. Swara tells Sujata, mom please make him understand. Sanskar says No, I have made it final.

Durgaprasad cries saying that I had to prove Swara dishonest. My sons Laksh and Sanskar are like my two hands and they are being cut. Annapurna says if we can prove that Adarsh (Tarun Singh) is behind all this, we can save our family. DP says yes we have to pray to God that he reveals the truth before everyone. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) enters and asks why are you crying. Annapurna says we are remembering the old times. She says it is futile to the recollect old days as we are united again. She calls them for dinner saying Laksh will be coming soon.

Swara tells Sanskar that breaking relations is no joke. He says Laksh has tught me this. Sanskar says I would have fought with Adarsh as he is characterless but Laksh is a stupid man. I won’t tolerate him talking shit about my mom. Swara says I will not allow you to break relations. Sanskar says fine you also go from here. Swara looks on shocked. Sumi (Parineeta Borthakur) walks in.

Laksh enters and everyone asks him what happened. He says I fought with Sanskar. He says I do not mind the wounds, I got very happy seeing Sanskar suffering. Sumi tells Swara and Sanskar that Sujata and I have not taught our kids to accept defeat. He says I won’t tolerate any random person talking rubbish. Swara says they are not random people. He says yes they broke relations. He says if any of you tries to keep relations with them, I will commit suicide. He tells Swara that I have always supported you, if you have ever loved me, you will support me.

Dressing Laksh’s wound, Adarsh says we feel so bad when you get hurt. laksh apologises and says I won’t do anything of this sort in the future. Ragini remembers Swara’s words. She asks Adarsh if you gave Rs 10 crores to Sanskar, you must have been aware that Laksh was in jail. She asks how did you allow Laksh to get beaten up in lock up, if you can’t see a small wound on him. She says I want to know how you allowed Laksh to suffer so much. Adarsh and Parineeta are shell-shocked.

Swara says to her maa that you saw what Sanskar said. She says I don’t know what to do. On one side our relations are broken and on the other, Sanskar’s threatening me. She says you saw how seriously he threatened me. Shumi picks up the Bhagavad Gita and recites yada yada. She says whenever there is too much evil in this world, god comes into this world. Swara feels hopeful. Shumi says people have done enough harm. She says the matter is not about right or wrong but it is a Dharma Yudh. She says to defeat the Kauravas, the Pandavas had to use sam dam dand ved. She says you have to lie to your husband. Swara says no.. .Shumi says a lie told for someone benefit is not a lie. She says I will support you.

The upcoming episodes of Swaragini will see a lot of drama. We will see Swara (Helly Shah) and Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) uniting to defeat Parineeta and Daadi (Alka Kaushal). It seems that their husbands will also support them in this mission. We will have the naming ceremony of Shumi’s (Parineeta Borthakur) son and Ragini will try to being Shekhar (Sachin Tyagi) and her closer on this occasion. We know that Daadi has made Shekhar swear that he won’t have any contact with Shumi. However, he is extremely distressed about what has happened with his wife and son. Ragini will try to get her parents closer on this occasion.

On seeing this, Daadi will throw a fit. She will lock up herself in a room and threaten to end her life. She only does that to scare Shekhar but it won’t have any result. Daadi will be scared that she will get burnt in real as well. Later, she will light a matchstick but Sanskaar (Varun Kapoor) will enter the room and save her.

She will be relaxed but pretend to be damn angry on him. He is already upset with than happenings and will tell her that he will get her arrested if she tries it again. Daadi will call up Ragini and complain that Shekhar met Shumi. She will say that he went against her wishes and did so. Ragini will keep quiet as it was her plan to bring Shekhar and Shumi together. On the other hand, Adarsh (Tarun Singh) and Parineeta will feel threatened because the two sisters and brothers have joined hands against them.

In last night’s episode we saw a major showdown between Sanskar and Swara where he told her that he has cut all ties from his family. He will say that Laksh has no right to talk ill about his mother and it was they who grew apart from them. Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life….

Anuj Sachdeva: Gandhiji famously said, ‘You must be the change you wish to see in this world’. And this sentence holds true more than ever. The surgical strikes done by the Indian Army tells us that terrorism of any kind needs to be banished and it is important that we did these strikes. The army is bringing peace in our nation and it is being the change we wish to see today.

Gaurav Khanna: Self-restraint is the best show of power. So I feel Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy is very much relevant in today’s times.

Shamim Mannan: Gandhiji’s philosophy is relevant in today’s world to a considerable extent. His ideals were quite liberal, such as non-violence and tolerance. Today, all one needs for a better world is to eradicate violence and accept tolerance in the society. These philosophies must be best practiced now, considering the ongoing tragedies happening in the world. Gandhiji had always preached non communalism and was absolutely against corruption.

Roop Durgapal: Two major philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi have been truth and non-violence and we all know how much of that is being followed. No matter how detrimental violence is, in today’s times it has become very difficult to answer violence with silence as it is often misunderstood with fear.

Karan Patel: Well I think people should stop judging whose philosophies are relevant today as the world is changing and so is time. Hence one will act and react to what’s going on today. I respect Gandhiji. At his time he used his idea and now it’s our time, so today’s needs are ours.

Parineeta Borthakur: I feel Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy is still relevant on a personal level. I totally believe in ‘ahimsa’, and I feel we should never deal with anyone according to how they behave with us, but the way we are, or else there won’t be any difference between the two.

Kunal Jaisingh: It’s not that relevant in today’s time as it was conveyed back then, but we must absorb the essence of his wisdom and apply it in today’s changing times.

Mahika Sharma: Throughout his life Gandhiji followed truth and non-violence. Though we don’t have similar ideology, still his philosophies are very much relevant in today’s times.

Deepak Wadhwa: Gandhiji’s philosophy will always be relevant in the times to come. All the conflicts of the world can be solved using his philosophy and not by war or terrorism. Even today, non-violence is the key to peace around the world.

Tejasswi Prakash: Gandhiji was India’s pride. What he thought was for the betterment of the society. Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable spirit. The philosophy will always remain relevant forever.

Rishina Kandhari: With what see and what we hear about the world now a days , Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy is loosing its  relevance in today scenario!!

Moulli Ganguly: I feel it is somewhere relevant and always will be.. Because non-violence and peace are something that all of us want and vouch for. So i feel it is relevant and we should follow it!

Alokk Narula: It’s relevant to some extent only. As in today’s time No one is going to show another cheek if you hit on the first. Non violence do exist but to some extent only. It is relevant but we need to follow it

Swaragini begins with Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) sleeping in the room. Swara sneaks out of the room to call Ragini. She says that I am not able to get the property papers so far. Swara says I was about to get caught by dad (Sachin Tyagi) saved me. Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) gets happy knowing that Shekhar is not fully with Daadi. Swara says she has got impression of locker keys on soap. Swara sees Sanskar coming and starts fighting with Ragini. At the same time, Laksh comes behind Ragini and says what is happening. Both the sisters tell their husbands that their sisters are threatening them. Swara tells Sanskar that Ragini is showing off. Later, he asks Swara that is she hiding something from him. Ragini also pacifies Laksh.

At Baadi, Shumi (Parineeta Borthakur) is doing puja for her son, Ayush. The priest asks where is Ayush’s father. She says he is not with us at present but he will join us soon. Shekhar spots Ragini there and asks what happened. She says I have come here for darshan. Shekhar tells her that if Daadi sees her there, she will be upset. She says we have met her deal and she is satisfied.

They walk up to the dias where Ragini holds Shumi’s hand. Shekhar and she exchange an eyelock. Next day, Swara comes to Maheshwari mansion. She hides behind the car seeing Laksh. However, Adarsh (Tarun Singh) and Parineeta spot her there. Parineeta taunts her. Swara says I do not wish to talk here let us go inside. She says I have Daadi’s property papers. I have two options – I will either burn them coz they’re useless to me or else I can give them to you. Parineeta asks what do you mean? She says you accused us of taking Rs 10 crores now I want Rs 10 crores for real. And the notes have to be original ones.

Adarsh tells her to get the papers in the evening but she says you come to Baadi. She says you make the pretext of having dinner at Daadi’s place. Parineeta says the property is important for us and tells Adarsh to go to Daadi’s place.

Daadi (Alka Kaushal) spots Ragini, Shumi and Shekhar near the idol. She screams I warned you to stay away from Shumi but you did not listen. She is furious and locks up herself inside the house. Sujata says why is Daadimaa screaming like this. Sanskar is with her. Daadimaa pours kerosene on herself. She lights a matchstick. Ragini begs her to stop herself. Sanskar runs out and Sujata tells him to watch the tamasha. Daadi holds the lit matchstick in her hand while Sanskar tries to break the window.

He enters inside and takes the matchstick from her hand. She screams what are you inside? He says the police will come and ask you this as suicide is a criminal offence. He says you tried it before and this time you will get double punishment from law.
